Setting Up a Wireless Printer to Print Remotely

Your pharmacy can set up the HP 200 or 250 Office Jet Mobile Printer in order to remotely print content from your iPad or laptop (e.g. when you are conducting medication reviews outside of your pharmacy, etc.).

To Set Up the Wireless Printer:

1. Turn on your internet hotspot on your smartphone device.

Note: If you are not sure how to get to the hotspot on your phone, contact your provider. You will also need to know your hotspot password.

2. Turn on the mobile printer.
3. Choose your preferred language and country.
4. Select Self-managed.
5. Install the ink cartridges following the manufacturer’s instructions.
6. When prompted, load plain white paper. Then an alignment will take place.
7. When prompted for the connection method, select Wireless. The printer will search for any available wireless networks or hotspots.
8. Choose your Hotspot device from the list (e.g., Jim's iPhone) and enter the correct hotspot password. If the credentials are correct you will see Connection Successful message.
9. Connect your iPad or laptop to your smartphone device:
   1. Select Settings > Wi-Fi.
   2. Select your device name and then enter the correct password. A Connection Successful message will appear.
